I haven't posted on here in General Chats for a very long time, but yesterday I learnt something new. I don't often buy juices, because I've always made my own and only ever vape one juice, so buying juice is actually a massive novelty for me. Now, every now and then I get a craving for a desert juice (I generally only vape fruit juices), but when I want it, I want it now.
So now with advent of Longfill or Flavour shots, it got me thinking back to 2014, when I was developing juices, and how it would literally drive me insane to wait for desert juices to steep, before I could try them.
Surely after 12 years, someone has come up with a method that works and apparently, yes they have. I was very skeptical at first, but today, I opened the bottle of juice, and I'll be damned, it worked, it really worked.
I was surprised, because it used methods we used to use as well, but it's just a combo of these methods to address each issue of steeping.
So here we go, these are the steps, follow to the letter, and trust the process:
1. Combine whatever Longfill/Flavour Shot you have with whatever you need to combine it with normally (VG,PG,Nic etc) in a normal Chubby Bottle (Or to take this one step further, put it in a clear glass bottle)
2. You have 2 options here: Either shake the absolute crap out of it for 5 minutes, and I mean shake, foaming is perfect!!
OR Put the filled tightly sealed bottle in an UltraSonic for 3 x Cycles of 20 Min (It must be 3 x Cycles of 20 minutes, not 1 cycle of 60 minutes, as the juice will get too hot from vibrations). Put in the fridge between cycles for 10 min to cool. (Both these methods force mixing of the flavour and base elements)
3. Once either of these steps are finished, do the "Bath Water Method". Effectively, this is the following: Make sure the bottle is tightly sealed, fill up the sink/bath/bowl (whatever tickles your fancy here) with hot tap water. It must be too hot to touch, but not above 50-60 deg C. Leave the bottle in that hot water for 30 minutes (This thins the juice and encourages any chemical reactions between the flavours)
4. Remove from the hot water, and shake like crazy again for 1 Minute, OR put it in the ultrasonic for 5 minutes (No longer, it will get too hot again) (Again, forces mixing of elements after chemical reactions have taken place)
5. Now, take the cap off the bottle, and leave it to stand open without the cap one for NO MORE THAN AN HOUR (Going longer can cause nutty/bakery/biscuit/cake flavours to mute). Put it in a safe place obviously where no kids/animals/elderly etc can get to it, and also you want it somewhere dust free. Also, as an added tip here, if you can put it somewhere safe in direct sunlight for 1/2 of this hour, do it!!! This will really take the edge off the nicotine.
(This allows breathing, which in turn allows the harsh top noted to mellow, and the oxidation of the nicotine to begin. This is important to remove the harshness of the Nicotine)
6. Put the cap on the bottle, tighten it up, and put it somewhere overnight to stand. Next day, vape to your hearts content!
This 100% worked for me, with an extremely complex juice that has all of the most difficult flavour profiles that you could possibly find that require long steep times (Nuts, Creams, Bakery etc). The juice I used was NUTTY CRUNCH COOKIE by JEL (Naeem, this is still No 1 on the planet my man!!!)
Sorry if something like this has been posted before, but I thought I'd share anyway.
PS I also used a control bottle to ensure this wasn't in my head, and trust me when I tell you, their is simply no comparison between the two)
