It could work . Its probably not the best designer atty but I recon you can give it a try. It hasa collapsible negative spring though. It collapsed on me as the positive contact worked itself loose and shorted to the body. Lucky it came with a spring. One thing , I dont know how they got the screw so damn tight. This morning I stripped it when trying to replace the contact so I had to drill out the screw. I ended up also countersinking it. Also covered the positive contact area behind the switch with insulatation tape
