Any advice on how to fix/replace? I doubt it's possible to order spares of something that small.

I'm pretty distraught, as the door now sits very loose on the one side.

What size is it?
Mantech electronics in Epping near to grand west casino has some small round disks.

Thanks. Not sure if it's worth trying for something so small, if I'm near hobby shops I might check. Otherwise I may drive there if I get desperate!

Always the helpful @blujeenz ;-) It's about a third of the size of a nano sim card. Pen for scale:

Here's the sadness that is no magnet:

Temporary workaround until I can find something that'll work (thank goodness for being a girl and having these laying around):

I havent seen anything with that odd shape on the Magnetech site, they have a 25mmx8mmx8mm, but its rectangular.
Bummer.

Hi @rabbitneko Just some silly questions... magnets don’t get lost easily. They tend to stick to things. Have you looked in all the places where you keep you mod... handbag, car cubbyhole, car drinks holder, inside your washing machine, any place where your mod has been.

You may also be able to salvage one from an old greetings/birthday card, old hard drive or even the box that an attachment came in... my Velocity RDA has a small magnet used to keep the lid closed. They are very brittle so even if they are not the correct size you can chip it down to size and use it as a temp fix.

PS: to the jokers out there – I know people don’t keep their mods in their washing machines :)

No such thing as silly questions :)

It's my own fault I lost it tbh, I knew it was loose but put off super glueing it back. Was out front of my work building to vape and a twisper asked about my mod, so I opened to back door to show the batteries, forgetting that the magnet was loose. It fell down on to the pavement. We both looked for a good half an hour, dragging my key ring around (it was magnetic against my other magnets), scratching between the bricks with sticks, staring at the ground like it was a word search, no luck.

I'm going to be keeping my eyes open for anything remotely similarly sized and, even if it's not a magnet, but my mod magnet will still work against it. Anything to keep the door closed :)

I realise this is from quite a while back... but did you ever find a replacement... I just lost one of mine o_O

My dad made me one! He had a magnet that he cut into a similar size and I superglued it in. TBH I've forgotten this happened, I'm still using it today :)
