I don't own or haven't owned that mod, but mechs are simple. Either you need to clean the contacts or there's a problem on the RDA. Maybe both needs a disassembly and cleaning. Especiall the contacts and insulators.

It would, but not at it's best, and might cause your coil resistance issues, and worst-case a short

I did some TLC coil yanking and it seems to be firing on all cylinders - was definitely an issue with the coils resistance!
Was so afraid it was something wrong with my baby the top half of the button didnt work and only the bottom half did which was weird.

I have had issues on a mech build where the coil leg crossed over and touched the roll of the coil. Pic 2 shows a similar thing. Pulling that leg away solved the issue for me.
