Rob's Pod testing thread

The mixes are 50/50 I think but I’ll find out for u to be sure. For me it’s more about throat hit than the actual quantity of nicotine but that’s me personally. Nic salts need to be vaped at extremely low wattages though so keep that in mind. Nothing over 18W to be safe.

I agree on the its more the hit vs the quantity for me as well. You think the nautilus 1.8ohm coil at about 10-12w will be ok for these liquids (nic salts)?

Will be perfect. Just run on the smaller airflow setting

Nautilus coils are good to 14W max I think so you should be in the safe zone for the nic salts

I can't vape the ones with 20 / 30 / 50 mg Nic Salts. It is too harsh on the Throat. I am enjoying the 10mg from Opus in the Aspire Breeze and I am eager to get the 15 mg from Joose-E-Liqz soon that might be a winner for me.

Which coil head are you using? The 0.6 or the 1.2ohm?

I am using the 0.6 currently but I have vaped the Gusto before and I just couldn't get used to the higher nic in that pod system.

I'm using the 0.6 as well currently with 25mg/ml Poolside and I find it a bit muted a dry kinda harsh. Basically nothing to write home about as yet

I'm picking up a U-boat later today... The pod not the submarine I'm not that kinda muslim... The thing with Nic Salts tho is that the throat punch you're looking for... It just isn't there. That's where the danger lies. You're getting all this wholesome nutritious nicotine which rapidly absorbs in the salt form but there's no real indication thereof until you're just about buzzing.

@Amir I'm definitely after the buzz. I sink right to the bottom if I'm compelled to go without nic for a long time e.g. about 3 mins. The good thing about nic salts is that it's quick-acting so it doesn't take long to float to the surface.

Currently running the u boat with 15mg snlv18 on ice and it feels a bit ‘play play’ or kinda like weak... so you end up puffing and puffing a bit harder and a bit longer and then wham... hits you like a freight train. It’s pure sneak attack nic rush.

Every day I'm getting more and more tempted to get one of these, the Kanger UBoat really appeals to me for some reason (but kangertech :heartbreak:).

I hear what you're saying about the step backwards @Rob Fisher , but as long as I've been vaping I still love a good sneaky punch in the throat while I sit at my desk.
I feel your pain. I was a big kanger supporter until mod after mod started failing on me. Im not even going to comment about the commercial coils

A couple more Pods arrived for testing and some more Nic Salts.

First up is the Defender which is the most expensive of them all and quite big in comparison.

Seems to hold more juice than the others as well and a bigger coil as well.

Just as a tip for the others on the suorin air v2.. If you remove the plastic part on the bottom of your pod and leave the rubber piece in, you get more airflow!

For those looking for a much looser draw (DL) the Defender is the one by a country mile!

Can’t wait for ur thoughts on the element liquids in these devices, I’m a big fan so will be great hearing from the pros

There is no question that the Element Nic Salts are WAY WAY WAY better than any I have tried before! And my daughter who is my tasting specialist agrees. I have to thank Akeel from @Vape Republic for sending me these testers... I was about to throw all the pod systems into the gorge!

I haven't tried the tobacco's because I'm sure I won't like them but the Key Lime Cookie and Frost are excellent! I still need to test the Watermelon Chill.

Now I'm gonna have to test the Pod Systems I had written off because the juice will make all the difference!

Frost is the best menthol I've tried, I'm patiently waiting for payday to get a few bottles:D

Aaaaaand I knew it! Finally I don’t feel like a noob hahahaha... great to hear this MR Fisher as the element ns20 liquids in my breeze and gusto is my go to vape! I thought I was crazy

@Rob Fisher
I am just interested on how you find the BIG mouth pieces
eg The Smok,Defender etc
not to cumbersome ,comfortable or wide ?
Thanks

They are KAK!

The Defender has the best flavour and DL air flow but the kakkest mouthpiece!

If you want air (aka DL) then the Breeze is the best all-round refillable.

If you want a tight draw then either of the Sourin's.

Non fillable the Twisp Cue!
