Storing juice

Must the bottles be placed vertically e.g. standing up in a cupboard, or can they be placed horizontally e.g. lying down in a drawer?

Depends on your caps. Alas I have had some caps, brand new, which leaked when lying them horizontally. Based on that alone I prefer standing upright but either way works. Does not affect the juice at all.
