Is it wrong to be asking for stuff as a brand new member trying to get into rebuilding and basically being told no.
After looking thru classifieds and finding barely anything available.

Thretening to post screen shots of private conversions online is quite concerning given the POPIA act. That has serious legal consequences.

Given your second post's tone, it's coming off as you think it's just a simple cheap ask (like it's nothing at all). If that is the case. There are plenty of items available to you to purchase from the classifieds section (Those are very easy to purchase, given you canduct yourself respectfully with manners to the person selling, they are in no way obliged to sell anything to you should they so wish. Much like the PIF box.). Examples have been given by other members above where to purchase from. Members here will assist you accordingly if conducted with respect. A simple please and thank you will take you far.

From the existing members perspective. You have just joined the community and asked for free things, from a stash of things designed to help this community's members. You would be correct in thinking that you are now part of this community, however, just becausee you were let inside the walls. Does not not mean you have the rapport to receive its benefits. That's why the admins have guided you into interacting with this forum to build such rapport. Easy things, like talking about new items, or asking/giving for advice, introducing youself, general chit chat etc. will help with that. Remember your access to this forum can also be removed should you not conduct yourself accordingly. Many have been booted before for not doing so.

Existing members tend not to trust anyone without rapport, since many scams have happened in the past from recent joiners. They are not blind or naive. I'm not implying you are not trustworthy, however actions speak louder than words. With this thread, it's already not looking good. Should you wish to salavge this, try what I have mentioned above.

*TL,DR: Just because someone is giving something away for free, does not mean you are entitled to it. Ultimately they decide who is deserving of it.

I don't think it's a 'gate keepey' thing. I think it's more a 'we look after each other' thing as most of the older members on here have been through a few, well, interesting times together and we formed a community, so for someone to come from outside and take on a respected member makes our defenses come up.

All that being said, if you asked respectfully, and showed some more interest in the group and not just jumped in here and demanded things which are technically for people who really need something and not just want to experiment, then you would have found a completely different group of people assisting you, and gladly so.

I mean im not after freebies. Like you making it so clear because im not a “premium member” i wont get any benefits. Then why doesnt victim sell the free stuff and donate the funds to charity instead of making this false charade of pay it forward. Meanwhile its only avail for “premium members”. I dont see any local stores bringing in new mech mods or rebuildables, which reviewers are making vids about on youtube. Yes pods have taken over but blowing fat clouds really is not dead.

Regarding rebuildables I want an rda please point me in the direction of a store selling something like a twisted messes or drop v2 or goon

The PIF box is not available to only "PREMIUM MEMBERS" I am not a premium member just a long time forum user. You can see on the tags on the profile if they are premium users/admins/vendors/contributors extra. So with me not being a "PREMIUM USER" as I pay nothing, the PIF box is available to me, as I have spent much time on here helping others and gaining rapport.

Selling the PIF box contents defeats the point, its for when members get into a pinch. Donating the money removes that ability.

I have also contributed to the PIF box on several occasions because that's what we do, help each other out.

The PIF will be available to you once rapport is built, respect, common deceny and manners are applied. If these don't exist societies collapse. Which is why it is so important here. It's really easy to do these things.

Goon is no longer in production, Yes it was great in its day, but by todays standards, its lacking. The same holds true to the twisted messes and the drop rda, drop v2 rda can be found locally still as that was a more recent addition.

Unfortunately, the turn around time and short production cycles of vaping gear is terrible, So unless it did extremely well, there is usually only 1 maybe 2 production runs at most. It's the markets way of culling the weak products.

There have been several upgrades to the forum software over the years and sometimes the modules that have been loaded and configured lose their functionality.
