Therion BF by Lost Vape (Pre-Order)

@kimbo I got one of these beauts yesterday at VAPECON and would like to do a little write up on the mod, in this thread, if you don`t mind.

Guys about the bottles, they have not have orders for extra bottles, we are the first. So they still deciding about including the tubes with the bottles, i am working on it at the moment

Waiting.......!
Lol @Andre . I was hoping to have done this last night. I did say a small write up but just saying "The mod is awesome/I love it" probably won`t cut it:D I am not going to talk alot about the Delirium atty that comes with the mod as I`ve not used it. It comes in at 23.9mm on my vernier calipers. This mod can take the bigger attys thats out there. I will have to confirm for my self but from what I`ve been told the posts and deck are meant for big builds like claptons etc. It seems as though you wont get a 28 g kanthal trapped in there. Find more pics on the atty here.
Background:
I am a self confessed serial squonker. I`ve loved squonking ever since I was introduced to it here on the forum. Just getting that out of the way so you know I`m not going to be biased:rolleyes::).

The Mod:
The mod is solidly built and feels sturdy in hand. The battery cover fits snugly and can be removed effortlessly to refill or replace the battery. I`ve been using it for a day and a half now so the usage has not been extensive. That`s about a bottles worth of usage at 45 watts power mode running dual twisted kanthal coils at 0.4 ohms. The battery, LG HG2, is almost flat. I can happily report that during this time there has been not a single leak from the 510/bottle tube connection or from any where else for that matter.

The bottle is a fairly large one. I think 10ml IIRC. They are a bit softer than the REO bottles but not as soft as the Italian squonk bottles that I`ve felt. The feed tube to 510 is pushed into place and held there by the friction fit of the tube on to the 510 connector. REO users will be used to having a lot more of the tube holding onto the 510 so that might be alarming at first. However fear not as the battery/bottle cover holds the bottle in place with the ever so slightest of play. This ensures that the bottle does not move or that the tube does not dislodge it`s self from the 510. Removing and reinserting the bottle/feed tube on to the 510 is rather effortless.

When I first got the mod I started to realize why I am so indebted to @Rob Fisher for saving me from the perils of the E-Scribe software by including me in the group buy for the P67. So I downloaded and installed the E-Scribe software, connected the mod to my laptop and I was good to go. At first I looked at the laptop screen in front of me and I was . I`ve been using mech squonkers for almost a year and a half now which means, replace battery, build/dry burn/wick coils, squonk and you`re off. I know how to change wattage/voltage etc on regulated mods but the DNA is something else. The E-Scribe software and DNA board customization options is almost hypnotizing. If you love to tinker with your mod then this is it. If you are new to the DNA chip like I am then it`s also good to have someone who knows the chip well enough that they can give you advice before you even ask for it. Thank you @SAVapeGear . If you don`t like to faff around with settings on a mod then there are also 8 presets that you can load with the various wire types that will get you vaping in no time. Like me once you are up and running you can then start to customize the settings to find the perfect vape.

The BF Therion is approximately 100 grams heavier than my SL/LP RTA REO with brass door. Both had full bottles of e-liquid and identical attys. The weight does not really bother me as I`ve been carrying it around in my jeans pocket comfortably since this morning. I like the sturdiness of the mod and that quality finish would not be achieved using plastic or some other lightweight component. Those that have or have held the Therion DNA75 will know what I`m talking about.

The buttons have a soft touch/light click operation. There is an ever so slight play on the fire button. Nothing to be too concerned about, unless you have a severe OCD problem. If you do have a severe OCD problem then the fire button wont matter anyway as you will probably spend all your time perfecting the TCR curve on E-Scribe software to even fire the mod:p There is a separator plate that sits between the battery and the squonk bottle. This needs to be removed when changing batteries and reinserted after the battery swap. I`ve not figured out how to replace the battery with out removing the feed tube and bottle but it looks like it can be done. As said before, removing and reinstalling the bottle/feed tube is quite effortless so no problems there.

The chipset has the DNA dna. I`m not sure of the issues with the Evolve DNA chipset so I cant really comment on the quality thereof.
All in all it`s a sturdy, quality built and finished mod that`s a regulated squonker that can take larger sized RDA`s and fire up to 75 watts with an Evolve chipset. A win win in anyone's book, unless you need 100 watts of power and need to carry around a car battery just to power your mod for the day:lipssealed:.

* please excuse any bad spelling/grammer etc as I was in a hurry to get this up before @Andre revokes my REOville badge:D

No name, no toy atty for this mod. My wife is going to kill me.:bash:
