I have 2 UPS's to get outta here Pronto!

Before I waste very valuable and hard to come by time and energy at the moment with so many irons in the fire - Absolutely No Disrespect Intended - setting out the details I just want to gauge if someone/s is seriously interested in such an offer on this forum which is not about power outages. I think there may be some, don't we all hate the power situation atm.

Like the h/w clearance, this is real bargain basement stuff, and people here know my standards.

So please, just shout here if you are interested and I will do what I can to explain it all. I am/have been running our whole household on a large setup which I keep. I have a small new 3.5KVA available, built, compressed, balanced with good BMS etc, and Gold Standard CATL Electric Vehicle 1st grade cells built into a small trolley by yours truly ready to go just hook up a 12V pref true sine wave inverter.

Also a used, by me, 24V sq wave setup running my large server and 2x large screens etc, being hooked up to my large setup supporting my whole house including fridges/freezers fans & what have you.

Interested? Please shout!! I will check from time to time if I dont fall over - asleep :envy:

Can a 3.5 kVA inverter carry a fridge?
A 3.5kVA inverter with power factor 1.0 delivers a full 3,500 watts — enough to simultaneously run a deep freezer, medium refrigerator, 1HP inverter AC, ceiling fans, LED lights, and multiple TVs in a typical 3-bedroom flat.05 Feb 2026

'tis not a PF of 1.0 stoopid. Use 0.8 -0.9. Say 2.8 KW. But you get the drift.

AI Overview

A 3.5 kVA power system (generators or hybrid inverters) provides about 2,800 to 3,500 watts of actual running power. This capacity is ideal for backing up essential household or small office electronics, including fridges, TVs, laptops, and a few lights during load shedding. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

Power Capacity Breakdown
  • Apparent Power: 3,500 VA (Volt-Amperes)
  • Running Watts: \(\approx 2,800\text{ W}\) (Assuming a standard 0.8 power factor)
  • Amperage: \(\approx 13\) to \(15\text{ Amps}\) (Dependant on your 220V–230V system) [1, 2, 3, 4]

What Can It Run?
To avoid overloading your unit, be mindful of "surge" wattages (the temporary spike appliances draw when they first start). [1]
    • Yes: LED lights, Wi-Fi routers, laptops, TVs, gaming consoles, and a standard refrigerator.
    • Maybe (One at a time): A small microwave, a chest freezer, or a small (e.g., 9,000 BTU) portable air conditioner.
    • No: Heavy high-heat appliances like stoves, ovens, hair dryers, or heavy-duty power tools. [1, 2]

PF depends greatly on the inverter and load you hook up to it.
