My good old snowwolf mini 80w battery has started to swell.

Do you think its ok to keep using it?

I have not noticed any drop in battery life or charging time as yet

Its toast bud. Chuck it. Its waaaay too risky to use. I had a phone catch fire on me after noticing the battery swelled

Have to agree with the majority of feedback received - DISCARD

Is there a safe way to dispose of Electronic Mods with internal batteries?
I know some Woolworths stores have got special bins for old batteries.

Reboot. That seems to be the solution to all of life's problems.

remove buldging battery and try to find a lipo that fits then you can still save the mod.
alternatively a tech guy might be able to fit 18605's if there's enough space.
but the swelling is a warning that its about to fail...or it's about to fail and taking no prisoners. When that happens the mod will be bust to so rather not use it like that

Thanks for the advice will definitely retire this mod
Please be weary of where you store it. A ammunition case is a safe place provided there is fire retardant foam inserts.

A swelling battery is an indication that the chemistry is changing and lipos make nice fires and nice explosions too!
