Joyetech aio coil tastes like.... hot rubber

Hey there

Three days in with a new coil/device and well every so often my vape will taste like chemical perfume I guess is the closest description I could think of..

At first I suspected I could be the juice ( Vape fusions ) but the same thing happened to my moms device ( also joyetech Aio ) but with another brand and flavour of juice ( wicked wicks red line cherry ).

I never let the tank run dry before refilling

Any possible causes and preventions ?

E.g. Coil resistance, wick , coil, Mtl or straight to lung inhail etc

that could be the cotton. I had to rewick my coil 5times in a row last week due to the same thing even though I boiled the cotton.
