hi there guys. so I have a question, hope that you guys could give some advice please.
so my wife used to be a smoker, at first I introduced her to vaping, got her a sub-ohm tank (similar to mine) with 3-6mg juices, she said that the 3mg doesn't satisfy her needs and the 6mg is too harsh on her throat.

I then started to buy her disposables, in which she had no issues, a couple of months later we tried the 3-6mg juices, she felt the same as in the beginning, 3mg no satisfaction and 6mg too harsh.

so what is our next step? I don't want to buy disposables the whole time, I don't have issues building coils, so my thoughts are getting a MTL tank with nic salts?
but where to start? I know nothing about nic salts and how to choose the strength ect.

or is there other routes to take?

If you don't want to mix your own liquid, you could always just order 100ml of 100mg/ml nic salts from blck.co.za and then just add it to longfills to make up 30mg per ml which is what I'd recommend. You can always titrate down. Then just buy a pod kit or an MTL RTA

so the whole 100mg/ml goes into one longfill? that will give 60ml juice?

what is the difference between the PG and VG nic salts

how would one strengthen the nic salts above 30mg/ml

also i see on blck website that there is nic salts and then MTL salts?

No you don't add the whole 100ml. The 100ml is 100mg per ml strength. So if you want to make 60ml of liquid at 30mg per ml, you'd need 1800mg of nicotine salts in total. (30mg per ml times 60ml) and because the nic salts are 100mg per ml, you'd need to add 18ml to the 60ml bottle. I just use normal nic salts for my mtl liquids. You just do the math to work out how much to add to make it stronger. I don't recommend going over 30mg/ml though because your body can only absorb so much, the extra would just be wasted. For MTL you want to mix between 60%VG/40%PG and 50/50. So you'll need to buy VG and PG too but they're cheap by the liter. So if you buy a 60ml longfill (the flavouring is always PG) which has 20ml flavouring, and you're aiming for a 50/50 mix, then Nic Salts in PG won't work because you need to add 18ml, which will push the total PG content to over 50% so in that case you'd buy nic salts in VG. So then you have 20ml PG (which is flavouring) and 18ml VG (which is nicotine). Then just add another 12ml of VG and another 10ml PG for it to be 50/50. I personally prefer a 60VG to 40PG for mtl but that's just personal preference and works well with the atomizer I use

Solid advice.

awesome thank you very much, what kind of atomizer would you recommend?

That's completely up to you. Depends on your budget and personal tastes. As long as its specifically for MTL you should be fine

My personal recommendation and somthing that has helped alot of people I have advised this to is get a device such as the xros due to its flexibility and that it has a option of a .4ohm pod and switch between free base and salts but if going with salts recommend start with a 35mg nic strength lower down to 25mg and work your way down to a 6mg and then a 3mg personally I always advise to reduce the nicotine intake which is always the healthier option and the main goal to quiting overall the other benefit is that you can not a must but can continue to vape when down to 2 or 3 mg nic which isn't bad overall as there are some foods we eat that actually contain nic another thing from personal experience some 6mg juices are alot harsher then others some are just so smooth example a JEL Havanah gold 6mg is smooth for me but a TKO Blue milk or lime milk 6mg is harsh that's a personal observation I found for myself the juice is excellent quality it's just that some nic used hits different to others this is just my bit of advise that works but end of day its also a mind over matter adapting to lower intake of nic isn't gonna be satisfactory over night or in a week it will take time personally it took me a while to get off the cigarettes but the biggest help to getting of was the mind over matter putting a focused mindset to what I actually wanted
