Tsunami 24 RDA - What coil setup are you running?

HI guys,

So my fiance decided to treat me to a Tsunami 24 RDA, which should be arriving tomorrow.

What I need to know is, what coil setups have you been running and what suggestions could you make regarding this?

I'm sorry if there is a thread like this already (Couldn't find it )

I'm still waiting for mine. Should be here next week I hope. Will probably do my coil that I invented myself http://www.ecigssa.co.za/dem-builds.t18707/page-6 , but instead of using naked wire, I'll do a clapton with 24g SS317L wrapped with 32g kanthal. Will prob be around .4 ohms with lots of surface area. Should vape nicely at around 65W.

I was thinking of making dual claptons with 2 strands of 24g wrapped in 28g kanthal.

Not sure how many wraps to do, as I want to get around 0.24 ohms out of the build...

Advice?

I'm running 24 gauge stainless steel wire. 3mm diameter, 10 wraps each. Coming out to 0.25ohms. Fast ramp up and good ramp down time. Very nice vape!

I was running some 3mm 6 wrap claptons which came to 0.45ohms. This build needed a ton of power thus killing my battery too quickly.

Had anyone tried geekvape fused claptons? I need to get myself some lower resistance claptons to try out next.

7 wrap 26x2 / 32 wrap fused claptons, 0.26 ohms, 85 watts is whats my preferred, insane flavour and clouds.

I actually took out the coils I had in from the above pictures, ramp up was too long and ramp down used more juice than my actual inhale

Using 26g kanthal 7 wraps now @ 0.24 ohm at 120w
BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEG Clouds and flavour seems better too!

Thanks! I find that using a DNA mod helps speed up ramp up time. still so busy these days that i dont have much time to play around with my drippers..

Yeah I was deadset on getting a DNA mod, until I realised what a lump it will make when I carry it in my pocket...

I had the cuboid but sold it once i upgraded to my current DNA mod..also dual 18650's and max at 133w or if you use the lipo 200w. It is so much lighter than the cuboid!
