So here is my first attempt at building twisted coils. I used 2 strands of Geekvape 24ga Ni80 wire with 7 wraps, getting 0.182 omhs.

Very nice, but I counted 8 wraps

Nice @etiennel22 !

Did you use a drill to twist them?

How does the vape compare with normal untwisted wire? (From your experience?)

Thanks @Silver.
Yes, used a drill with an allen key in the chuck. Was easier to make as what I initially thought.

Wrapping the coils is quite tricky, but got the hang of it.

It takes a bit longer to ramp up as to the normal wire.

The flavour isn't that much better, it is just more crips and the vape is smooth.

But will definitely build them again, and try to improve it.

Wow very nice build there!!

Awesome build.
Thinner gauge wire will sort out the ramp up. I still have a soft spot for 26ga 316l ss twisted coils.
Enjoy the experimentation. This rabit hole goes deep.
