Nemesis Mech Mod

there's no "tricks"..its brass, treat it like a trumpet or whatever else brass things you have..polish once a day etc.
I'm not sure what is available in the local market, but if there is such a thing at the jewellers like a non-yellowing clearcoat you can try that. I found some stuff called protectaclear (google) and am playing with that, its a clearcoat you apply with a cloth to protect stainless steel fridges and braais etc. Results are encouraging but my technique is still lacking
I miss my brass one, I sold it to fund a vaping charity thing and dont regret doing that, but the problem is the guy who bought it keeps posting pictures up of it so it follows me around and I would like it back hehehehe. sn.#12 :-(

around 1 minute in..thats my baby he's using:-(
I take solace in the fact that he is doing an excellent job looking after her

tom, what is the exact problem, does the firing button stick or not make proper contact you think?
the latter...it does not make proper contact. sometimes it works for a while, then i struggle. and it would always be when I am out with it....that messes it up big time

@Vern thanks for the video n post made it so easy for me to setup my first mech mod

Man, a brass nemi looks so good, I'm going to order one on fasttech... unless someone wants to sell me one ;)

speaking of nemmys, has anyone enlarged the air intake holes, as in drilled them bigger? thinking of doing it to mine but would rather get some feedback first

I'm curious which intake holes you are referring to?
The actual mods intake holes, or an attie's you are using on it? I'm going to presume you are talking about the actual mods intake holes which means whatever you are using on the Nemesis has bottom air feed, which can only be something like a BCC, for example a Protank or Nautilus.

Before I rant, I'll rather wait for you to specify what atty you have on there. There's very few reasons why you should be considering drilling these holes and if it is in fact to better feed a BCC I'd suggest you modify the BCC instead. The airflow on the mod itself is actually pointless, since there's few rebuild-able atties other than something like a Diver that would need this flow system. If you're using something like a BCC on it then it's probably not the optimal combination, but I'm speculating here since I don't know much about your setup.

Yeah, I have no need to enlarge mine. Don't own any bottom feed tanks here.

speaking of, which other tank besides the 3D RDA is a hybrid fit for the nemesis?

yes protank is what i was referring to. thanks for the info. i have a 22 mm protank clone that sits flush on top of my nemesis comes through those airholes. up to now i have just been adjusting the nemmys positive pin to keep the tank from screwing on flush but that could lead to thread damage from bumps and such

Don't if you've seen this @Riaz? It's a hybrid adapter for your Kayfun/Nemesis combo. Creates a flush fit, bypassing the 510 connection. I've no experience with this though. Here's two possible versions. I'm guessing it works with a Russian 91% too.

In another forum i saw that the 4 pieces one can accomodate any atomiser with. 510 connection . While the other one is only for 3.1

nemesis and protank....wifey uses that combo
here is what happens...adjust everything right, fit switch to nemesis, turn switch till it is tight, vape!

here is what actually happens:
switch pushes battery up, battery pushes positive pin up, positive pin has some "float"/wiggle, so it can then push on the positive contact of the protank.
protank positive contact gets pushed up a little bit into protank, compressing the silicon/rubber insulator, which then blocks off the airholes on the protank 510 connector.

because:
on a protank/evod, the airflow is as follows
in from the three holes on the side of the 510, DOWN to the bottom of the 510 connector pin (which is slotted), air goes between mod positive pin and protank positive pin because of the slots, then it goes UP the center hole of the protank/evod heads up to the coil. and that insulator expanding can block this all off.

and what @andro said..I have those, one is only for the base of the kf3.1, the others ones can fit almost anything onto the nemesis without the topcap (I say "almost" because the disc is very thin, perhaps 2mm, so sometimes it threads onto a 510 pin and instead of tightening up on certain attys it ends up just spinning around in circles because the atty's threads are too few.)

Indeed, just about the only real negative on the nemesis is the lack of more threads on the 510 connection. For me anyway.

Hi johan wat battery do u use and will it get me through the day on a fully charged battery?

I know this is a old thread but I want to revive my Nemesis.
It died when in pocket fired my dripper and got so hot that the plastic part holding the adjustable pin came loose from its ring.
Is there spare parts I can get for it or can I glue it back in?
