Hi is there anyone here knows someone who can repair the thread on a rda's grubs screws
It needs to be retapped and where do one buy some grub screws

My eye sight is very bad to see such small things thats why i won't be able to fix it myself
Maybe a company in Pretoria that anyone knows of

Thanks in advance

If you can find a screw, not necessarily a grub screw that has the same thread you could try and rework the threads by screwing it in.
Then just get new grubs screws and replace the worn ones.
(My opinion and I have done it before so I'm sure it could work)
For other option I'll tag in @Norman Anderson who does awesome work!

RS Components in Midrand sell the grub screws both in Stainless Steel and metal
It costs roughly R50 to R80 for 25 to 50 screws depending on the size.
They are in kyalami office park and have a walkin sales counter

Those prices are insane!!! RS is known to be a ripoff.... Google a Nut & Bolt supplier - There will be plenty in Gauteng.

I kinda messed up the screw i bought a tap and die kit and drilled to a 2.5 and tapped to a 3 mm but i can't tap deeper in so the screw doesn't catch enough to make it secure

If you grind the tip of the tap shorter it will work.
