It is definitely one hardy piece of kit. I've dropped mine plenty of time without serious damage.
I have a drunken friend that has gone through about 20 tanks from EVOD, iclear to mPT3 all dropped and broken but the trusty MVP is still firing on all cylinders.

The MVP 2 was my first and remains in use. I'll have to burry it if the battery dies someday.

Hopefully I won't treat mine as well as this.
Normal wear & tear already gives it enough 'houding' as is without the need to add some custom lines across the body with a machete.
