Clyrolinx - Concentrate Reviews

Concentrate : Caramel Popcorn
Amount : 3%
Method : Steeping
Notes : nice taste, the caramel over powers the popcorn, so you get a slight popcorn taste , but mostly a smooth caramel taste. 3% is perfect for single concentrate, as a mix I wouldn't use to low, maybe 2.5%.

Concentrate : Condensed Milk
Amount : 4%
Method : Steeping
Notes : Nice condensed milk taste, wouldn't use as a single mix, but will work well as a mix, that richness comes through but a bit bland as a single.

Concentrate : Doughnut
Amount : 3%
Method : Steeping
Notes : Guys I am a fruity flavour guy and don't do much desserty flavours, but this is a must buy, awesome flavour, you really get that doughnut taste, and can be used as a single, but my feeling with this one is, if it tastes like this as a single, as a mix, it will be amazing. No higher that 3% as single, less as a mix.

Concentrate : Cotton Candy
Amount : 3%
Method : Steeping/streathing
Notes : Tastes a little like candy flos, not one of my favourites, but hey that's my pallet talking, yours might be different. Streathing ands no benefits on this vape. But used both methods.

How long did you steep for? And was is closed or open bottle steeping for maximum flavour?

If you check the method, steeping is always closed bottle, streathing is when you allow oxygen into the mix while steeping, I work on a general of 15 days, if heat is applied while mixing then less.

Thank you for your for that clarification.

Update

Amarula
3%
Streathing /steeping.

Did a batch at 5%(steeping) perfume smell.
Diluted to 3 % (Streathing) over 17 days still strong perfume smell but Streathing eliminated it a bit.
Good as a mix due to faint after taste as a single it is not a desirable concentrate.

Concentrate : English Toffee
Amount : 3%
Method : Steeping
Notes : Very nice toffee, get that caramelly toffee taste coming through, it tastes like when u have a soft toffee melt in your mouth, 3% is perfect as single mix, but I would keep it at 3% and add on in a mix.

Concentrate : Cinnamon
Amount : 3%
Method : Streathing
Notes : Awesome cinnamon, will work well with all mixes for those who like cinnamon, suggest you definitely buy a bottle for your mixes.

I see there are a few new flavours available

Avocado, Bacon, Baklava, Beer, Biltong, Chai Tea, CremeBrulee, Dulce de Leche and Lemon Cream Biscuit

Anyone tried them?

Oh and a magnetic stirrer for less than R2000

Yes I prepared a batch of lemon cream biscuits
2.5% conc vg/pg @65:35

Shaked and vape it tasted good but I bet if I let it steep will even be better to bring out the cream taste.

Concentrate : Lemon Cream Biscuit
Amount : 3%
Method : Steeping
Notes : ( I plan to update the below as I play with this concentrate.)
Mixed - 12/07/2017
Smell - Direct from the concentrate bottle, Just like Lemon Cream biscuits.
Setup - Phenotype L. Single coil SS316. Organic Japanese Cotton.
Shake & Vape - Doable but the lemon takes over a bit too much. Like eating a lemon cream with one of the biscuits removed. With a sharp aftertaste, slightly unpleasant.
11 day steep - 23/07/2017. The lemon calmed a bit. The biscuit seems to have faded slightly but comes out more on the exhale. 3% might be a bit high. Aftertaste has improved. 2.5% may be more applicable and will test this after dripping the remaining +/- 6ml. Is growing on me as i Vape it, not ADV material yet though, may require some additional biscuit...

Oh no. Can a person request different bottles? I'd be happier with the simple eye-drop type plastic bottles.

From Geoff:

Hello, Liesl. Yes, our 10ml and 30ml bottles have that inset, slow-flow, dropper cap.

I wonder how The Flavour mill send their flavours given that they are the same product? Problem is the Flavour Milll don't have as much stock, some only available in 10ml

I tap them till a drop comes out. Sometimes rotating them just right helps.

Clyrolinx joke: Tap tap, oh whoops that was 2 drops, now I have to increase the vg by 200ml.

FlavourMill and FlavourWorld both package their flavours in plastic dripper bottles and I have bought their flavourings in 10ml and 30ml bottles so far.

Thanks for all the hard work put into these guys. I've only just discovered this brand, going to order a pile of them, considering they are so highly concentrated and the pricing is great, looks like alot of bang for your buck. Excited to try them
