I usually put a door between my wife and I when she's hot under the collar. Does not help for her mood, but it helps keep the glare away. Not sure about the gaskets you're talking about though

I just stuck one of the little cardboard battery insulators on my mod. It creates a bit of a barrier, the tiniest bit of space between the mod and tank, but more importantly prevents any atty rash either way.
