Hi All

So eventually I found a POD system that suite my requirements. Small, Compact, Easy to Use, just an amazing device flavour and battery usage wise.

I have a small issue tho, I found that the coils does leak a bit, not so bad that the device gets covered in juice, just enough for me to ask if anyone else had experience the same with the PNP coils?

Is it maybe just a bad coil or two? Or will this be a permanent issue?

Ahh gees, not what I wanted to hear.....
Any long periods of chain vaping or high wattage and it leaks bad, if using just taking an occasional draw it's fine but warm that liquid and yes it is an issue i pointed out in my review problem is the amount of reviews for whatever motive i have notice tend to turn a blind eye to certain cons! Same with the Vinci and Vinci X and don't leave the pod just standing with e-liquid inside for a couple of days or more else when you pick it up e-liquid pours out both side slots and back adjustment slot! Still a good device just if used in a certain way and @OnePowerfulCorsa pointed out the 0.15ohm coil works fine but obviously that's fine if the vape from that coil suits you. There are third party RDTA pods out for it which may give much better results, The VXV Soulmate RDTA Pod for it just going by the pictures looks very interesting!

I usually try and remove my pod at night and store it upside down to try and help with the leaking.

As I saod, its not a bad device at all. But the leaking can become an issue down the line as I only had it now for 2 or 3 weeks, so the leaking is still "not too bad", but if it continues for 2 to 3 months I might feel completely opposit

Down the line i would get an RDTA for it, looks pretty leak resistant, if not already will be a good step into rebuildables and save loads of money long term!

Correction will just get you more hooked on vaping and you will end up penniless but have plenty of great vaping gear!:risas3:

I have been using the 0.3 coil and no problems, just a bit of condensation. But then I always store all pods separate from batteries at night and wipe their noses before going to sleep. BUT, I Vape at lower wattages usually, so maybe this has something to do with it. Currently running at 25 instead of the mod suggested 35w. I have left it in the car while working and no mess. Maybe I have just been lucky?

I am also in the market for a rba though, commercial coils eat my budget too much, although with my wicking ability the last while, :monoloco: , still going to store separate. Think I must fork out for some TFC when the time comes, between that and CB or 2, just not the Prime Evil version, should do the thing. New full rba version pods seem a lot easier to build and wick as well, the small coil size ones are a pain in the :BangsHeads:.

Yeah there definitely is a connection between the e-liquid heating up and the leaking so not chain vaping and sticking to low wattage which is a pros of the Vinci coils that they have a broad flavour range and don't need wattage throwing at them, keeps any leaking to the minimum.

Im definately going to get the RBA PNP coil as soon as the vape shop stocks it. Will be much cheaper and think a little less leaking.

Still have my Drop RDA and Rage Squonk which is awesome but the small compact pod systems is much easier to carry on a daily basis

Or could be worse lol, still same problem the air enters the base of the coil and all that stops the e-liquid from pissing out is your wicking. The VXV RDTA pod makes that bottom adjustable airflow the device offers redundant as the pod it'self as it's own adjustable airflow which is much more leak resistant!

Been looking at this one, may have to just say what the.... and go for it. Anything that doesn’t leak, easy to build and wick is a win for me.
Disclaimer: Of course that is just the conclusion i have come to just seeing pictures of it, phewww!:monoloco:

It’s like everything vaping, take a chance, win a prize........ mostly. But the principle is good. Looking at a normal bottom airflow one as well, will have to see which one ends up “ looking the best for the job” and availability and courier costs, my biggest gripe at this stage.

I vape the pnp coils on lower wattage as I do with most. The problem is these coils last a long time and after a week the coil is still fine but I think the cotton start getting soggy and then it starts leaking if you not vaping on it for a few hours

Sourcemore as threw the VXV Soulmate RDTA for Drag X/S into the review package they are sending so i can give it a whirl. I will update with mini review and build photo's!

I'm having the same issues. I picked up my Drag X a month ago and the coil leaking is horrible. I keep it at a low watt and coil because I use salt nics. it flows down the side and gets pretty messy. I hope after going through this forum that I can reduce the leaking.
Other than that, I really enjoy the device.

I think it's the luck of the draw. My wife uses the VM4 coil (the 0.6ohm mesh one) and the first one leaked and the rest have been fine.

I haven't had any issues other than fairly heavy condensation in either the X or the Max. 0.6 ohm VM4 in both. That's at low wattage and daily use, I'm not sure I would trust them not to leak if left unattended for any period of time.

I only get a little condensation with mine, and I have used 4 different pnp coils (0.15 / 0.3 / 0.6 / 0.8). If you put your mouth over it and blow (without the tank and airflow completely open) you will get most of it out. I'm a n00b but hopefully that helps somewhat.

Slightly off topic, but I found that the only way to get the best flavour is airflow wide open. Even slightly closed the flavour dissapears. Am I crazy? From everything I've read, less airflow is supposed to mean better flavour? Apologies for going off topic but the moment I find someone who has experience with the Drag x I gotta ask :)
