I have never been in more agreement with @Yusuf Cape Vaper than on that point. Because it is true and because I am jealous for no ways I can build such works of art.Ha ha. I must have totally missed that post.
Great coiling, awesome picture - looks like you took it in Antartica!Clapton coil went the bin.
Didn't like it.
This is more up my alley.
Triple twisted 26g
Dual coil
2mm ID
Coming in just over 0.2 ohms.
Nice coiling dude try getting the coil slightly over the airflow slits. The airflow channels from the bottom and hits the coil directly. Then you'll see that freakshow perform!View attachment 19114 I think today we are all on a Einstein mission! Dual twisted Kanthal 26 gauge 6 wraps each. Booooya!LolView attachment 19111View attachment 19112 View attachment 19113
Do you throw your wick behind the coil into the well? I've got mine like that with a spitting 0.1 build and it doesn't leak a bitHehe have definately tried over but Ive seen when its over the slits it tends to leak alot.
Experimentation time..
I wanted to build a coil with the great airflow of my dark horse but lesser clouds so that I can vape with the same throat and chest hit in public without making them all dissappear in my awesome clouds.
Here is what I came up with.
24 Guage 9 wraps 2mm ID
Let the pics speak for themselves..

Now it's a win as it produces less Vapour. But the flavour is more burnt and not as rich as it usually is. Was worth the time but I'll be going back to my standard wrap
meh, a frustrating build session. Has lead me to a conclusion. Now is not the time, for me to be messing with my Mephisto. The massive post holes are really redundant, because making coils with wire thick enough to take advantage of them, can't really be done because the deck is really quite small. the same wire worked 10 times better in the little boy, which is also a pain in the neck, because it needs centre post builds and theres not enough space for the usual centre post tricks to be employed.

The coil is less than 1mm from the lip of the well. placing the coil higher gets it out of the direct path of the airflow, which would make the atty get too hot, its a 0.25 ohm build.

This is a 0.30 ohm build
The coil itself is awesome, lots of flavour and some really decent ramping time, considering how heavy the coil is. Thats twisted 24G with 30G wrapped around it.
That is atleast 15 wraps lolHere's a quick build done on the Veritas this morning:
2.5mm ID, 26g Kanthal, 10 wraps (I think, lost count after 3), wicked with Rayon, came out at 0.6 ohm

There is some noticeable turbo lag, but when it kicks in it just keeps going, excellent flavour and TH is hard! Exactly what I was going for, now to try it with a fresh battery
Thanks for the tips @HPBotha
